Meet The Team!

Marquis Johnson

Marquis has been our Programs Director since February of 2023! He is passionate about Youth Sports. He is a former Quartermaster with the U.S. Navy and then graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Sports Administration.

Maddie Kuester

Maddie has been our Wellness and Membership Director since May of 2023! She graduated from Central College with a degree in Sports Management. She is passionate about wellness, fitness, and sports. She has lived in Grundy her whole life and is excited to give back to the community.

Ally Focht

Ally has been our Youth & Community Engagement Coordinator since May of 2023! She graduated from Central College in May 2021 with a degree in Sociology and is currently working on her Masters Degree in Sports Leadership. She is passionate about coaching youth sports!

Board of Directors

The Grundy Family YMCA has a local board of directors, separate from the Family YMCA of Black Hawk County, to set policies and keep the Y connected with the need of our community.
